Houston Getaway!

To celebrate our anniversary, we drove off to Houston for the weekend!! It was soo wonderful to steal away just the two of us and relax away from school and work and stress and just BE.... :)

Houston is a 4 - 4.5 hour drive from Fort Worth and made for a great little road trip!! We had a great play list and a fun book of 1000 questions ;) And along the way is this famous pitstop called Buc-ee's! Not sure why it's famous... but it is HUGE and has everything and THE cleanest and largest bathrooms EVER! And it is especially famous for their Beaver Nuggets! Of course we had to partake....

We were very blessed to get a great deal on some tickets to a Cardinals v. Astros game at Minute Maid Park!! AND we even got a sweeet deal on a room across the street at the

Inn at the Ballpark!

It was so exciting to get to see the Cards play in TX! We even got to get close up during practice!!

And being that Houston is only and hour away from Galveston... We couldn't miss an opportunity for a day at the beach when we were sooo close! So Sunday morning we drove the hour to the coast and spent the day seaside! :)

Of course... We each got a little more sun burnt than we would have like... but it was totally worth it! ;) Have a great week!!

FUN-TIVITIES

We have got a busy couple of weeks coming up, thanks to some great friends and some great deals! Last Tuesday night we were able to get some great tickets to the Texas Rangers! The group we went with had some of our close friends so it was a bunch of fun. We did however see something so scary, I'll probably never see it again. We saw a fan reach for a foul ball and tumble over the upper deck and fall to the lower deck. It was unreal and everyone was shocked and stunned! We have heard that the man that fell is okay, but it was very scary.

If you read our last post you know that it was our 3 year anniversary. Diamend got us an amazing deal on some CARDINAL tickets!! So we are going to Houston this Saturday and Sunday to celebrate our anniversary! We are very excited that we got such a great deal on the tickets! We will be going back to Houston the following Tuesday and Wednesday for Diamend's work. Her boss and husband along with us will be recording a conference for leadership. It should be great!

I've started my final summer school class, Christian Ethics. It's not the easiest reading material but it is good content in class. I've already knocked out 2 classes and this will be my last summer class. I'll be posting details on each class and my grades once I have all of them in officially.

3 years...

Three years ago today I was blessed to become Mrs. Diamend Bianco!

I cannot believe that I got to marry my best friend, my total opposite, the only man that can make me smile when I'm down/in a bad mood, the man who helped lead me to my Lord, the man who will be the father to our future children.... I love you Tony Bianco.

God has blessed us in the last 3 years, with struggles and trials to help us grow and joys and successes to see His glory! I cannot wait for our next 10 years!!

Getting a call from a friend from home

Half Way Through

Well the summer is about half way over. That means Fall Semester is getting closer and my next summer class is about to start! I'll be taking a month long Basic Christian Ethics class that meets every Tues & Thurs for the month of July from 8AM to Noon. The class should be pretty good, if I can only get through my first book for it!! It's a book that was translated into English many years ago and the content includes two guys debating what they believe and if it is correct. I'm really struggling through it...

Work has been really busy! If you didn't know they released a new phone. I worked tons and saw some happy people and sad people. But work has been a blessing, it is providing some money and they are real flexible with my changing schedule.

Another cool thing going on is that Youth Ministry Lab has already started back up for me. YML is a 2 day student organized training conference for Youth Pastors and students. I have been asked to be one of the co-Capitans for it this year. Basically me and another girl, Courtney, who is also our neighbor, are in charge of it all. Planning, organizing, decisions, all of it. It will be a great experience and God is really going to do some great things! We have already been planning and it's going to rock! So if you didn't come last year, make it this year!!

Well I just finished a run and need to get ready for work! We love you all and all the prayers you have been giving us! Please know we think of you often and pray for you even more often! Love you, mean it, bye!
